I couldn’t bear to be on Tumblr yesterday - emotions were running way too high. So I’ll say this a day late and keep is short and simple:
To Clarence, the biggest man I’ve ever seen,
It’s been a year and words wouldn’t be able to describe the grief that I still feel whenever I listen to the magic you helped create. You’ve left us, but you’re not really gone. Bruce says “If you’re here, and we’re here, then they’re here” and he is certainly correct.
Your presence is still felt everytime the band takes the stage. Everytime I put my earbuds in. Everytime I blast the car radio.
Thanks for your music, your spirit, your soulful performances.
Thanks for that smile, those quirky dances, and your magnificent wardrobe
Thanks for being Scooter’s Big Man
But most of all, thanks for doing what you do: yesterday, today, and tomorrow
We love you, C. And we miss you.
